Private Chef Meal PrepImagine it's 7PM on a Wednesday & everyone is starving.
Baseball practice ran late, parking at dance was a disaster & there is still homework to do. Nobody stopped for fast food, nobody ordered DoorDash, nobody asked, "What's for dinner?", no groceries with good intentions were abandoned to rot in the fridge. Your fridge is stocked. Dinner is ready to go and your evening is spent with your family instead of cooking and cleaning.

-
Absolutely. Every menu is completely customized to your family's preferences, dietary needs, allergies, health goals, and favorite meals.
Each week, your chef will send an inspiration menu for you to review. From there, you can:
Choose everything from the menu.
Pick a few meals and customize the rest.
Request family favorites or recipes you love.
Or simply let your chef take the lead and create a menu for you.
No two families eat the same way, and no two menus are the same. Whether you're feeding picky toddlers, training for a marathon, managing food allergies, or just want healthy dinners ready after soccer practice, your menu is built around your family, not the other way around.
Customization is at the heart of everything we do.
-
Every service is fully customized to your family's needs. Your chef uses your scheduled time to prepare whatever combination of food best fits your lifestyle.
A typical service may include:
3–4 family-style dinners
Individually packaged lunches
Breakfast items
Snacks or grab-and-go options
Washed and prepped produce
Rather than charging by the meal, we provide dedicated chef time, so your service is built around your family, not a fixed menu.
-
Absolutely.
We regularly create menus for families with food allergies, gluten-free diets, dairy-free needs, vegetarian preferences, macro goals, and other nutritional requirements.
-
Yes. Our weekly inspiration menu includes macros for each meal, but if you'd rather not see them, we're happy to leave them off.
If you're actively tracking macros and need a higher level of accuracy, we can accommodate that too. Your chef can weigh portions and prepare meals with precise macro targets to help support your nutrition goals.

No - Many clients provide access to their home and return at the end of the day to a stocked fridge and a clean kitchen. Others prefer to be home and enjoy the experience, sometimes even having a fresh lunch prepared during the visit.
It’s completely up to your preference and comfort level.
-
Our chefs are carefully selected for both their culinary skill and professionalism.
Beyond preparing exceptional food, they're trusted to work independently in your home and provide the high-touch experience our clients expect. Every chef is thoroughly background checked, and Salt & Prepped is licensed and insured for your peace of mind.
We look for chefs who are not only talented in the kitchen, but also reliable, detail-oriented, personable, and genuinely passionate about serving busy families. We carefully match each family with the chef who best fits their preferences, personality, location and scheduling needs.
-
Unlike meal delivery companies, your meals are prepared fresh in your own kitchen by a dedicated private chef.
Everything is fully customized to your family’s preferences, dietary needs, and schedule without packaging waste, generic menus, or reheated, mass-produced meals.
Over time, your chef becomes familiar with your household and cooking style, learning your preferences and refining each week based on your feedback.
-
We operate on an ongoing service agreement with no long-term contract.
If you decide to end service, we simply ask for 30 days' written notice. This allows us to maintain consistency for your family while providing stable, predictable income for the chef whose schedule has been reserved for you.
We also include 3 Flex Weeks each year for planned travel or time away. If you need more than three weeks off, you can choose to:
Give your chef a paid week off.
Have your chef stock your freezer with freezer-friendly meals.
Donate your service to a friend, family member, or local cause.
These policies exist for one simple reason: to create sustainable, reliable careers for our chefs while giving your family the consistency of having a dedicated chef you know and trust.
